How to book

• Nature tour: a walking itinerary in the woods (approx. 3 km), bird-ringing station, Tor Paterno wetland, monumental holm oak, History and Nature Museum. Average duration: 7 hours.


• Archaeological Tour: Introductory video in the theatre, Archaeological Museum, mosaic, roman aqueduct, imperial villa, (former) Church of St. Filippo Neri, villa Cisternone, villa Discobolo – average duration 4 hours.


• Historic and Artistic Tour: Introductory video in the theatre, Archaeological Museum, Church of St. Maria del Soccorso and St. Filippo Neri, Castle main floor, Carriage Loggia, mosaic and the Queens’ gardens, Historic Car Pavilion, 16th-century fountain – average duration 3 hours.

All three tours offer the viewing of the artworks, furnishings, and installations which are part of the Quirinale contemporaneo initiative https://contemporaneo.quirinale.it/

Visits are organised in groups. Every ticket reservation under the specified name is bound to a date and time. If you are late for your scheduled visit time, you will not be able to take part in the visit. Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The tours are in Italian.

Visitors must arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the tour with a valid identification document. In case the names given at the time of the reservation do not match those on the identification documents, visitors will be denied access.

Minors under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Household pets are not allowed, except for guide dogs.

In the event of institutional activities or in case of adverse weather conditions, the tours may be subject to change or cancellation. In case of a change to the itinerary, no refund, even partial, of the admission ticket will be given. In the event of cancellation, a refund of the ticket will be possible.

Visitors must wear appropriate attire suitable for the institutional nature of the premises. Wearing walking shoes or trekking or hiking boots is mandatory for taking part in the Nature and Archaeological Tours.

The Nature Tour includes a lunch break in designated areas within the estate, equipped with picnic tables and facilities where visitors may eat their own packed lunches or purchase refreshments at the Estate's cafeteria.

The Historical-Artistic and Archaeological Tours end approx. at 1:00-1:40 p.m. Visitors may end their visit and leave the estate, or stop for lunch in a central area equipped with picnic tables and facilities. A bar/restaurant called 'La Dispensa' is also available and can be booked on the morning of the scheduled visit or in advance by calling 0651098134 .
